**MEMORIAL MASS**

AUSABLE FORKS ? A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 5, 2001, at 9 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church for those who died during the winter.

Individual burials at Holy Name Cemetery are as follows:

Faith S. Seguin, 84, of Wilfred King Road, Ellenburg Depot, formerly of Brainardsville, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at the home of her daughter, Rosemary King, under the care of her family and Hospice of the North Country.

Arrangements are incomplete through the Chateaugay Funeral Home.

Halsey J. Seguin
Saranac Lake, N.Y. ? Halsey J. Seguin, 88, of Charles Street in Saranac Lake, died Friday, July 19, 2002, at the Adirondack Medical Center at Saranac Lake.

He was born in AuSable Forks, N.Y., on March 13, 1914, the son of Joseph and Edith (Miner) Seguin.

Mr. Seguin was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

He was a charter member and past commander of AuSable Forks Veterans of Foreign Wars and first commander of Champlain Counties Council VFW and also a member of the Albert Gonyea VFW Post 3357 of Saranac Lake.

He had been employed by the Grand Union Company for 46 years, retiring as manager in Saranac Lake on March 1, 1976.

He was a member and past Grand Knight of the AuSable Forks Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the third and fourth degree Knights of Columbus in Saranac Lake, Bishop Gabriels Assembly, where he was Faithful Navigator and Captain of the Honor Guard.

He was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church in Saranac Lake and a member of the parish council, head usher, Eucharistic Minister and a volunteer on the Bishop's Fund Drive. He was also a member of the Saranac Lake Adult Center.

He married the former Elizabeth Currier on Dec. 2, 1933. She died March 27, 1995.

He is survived by a brother, William Seguin of Utica, N.Y.; three sisters, Marion Seguin Darrah of AuSable Forks, N.Y., Elizabeth Rosio of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Rita Hibbits of Louisiana; several nieces and nephews; and his goddaughter, Susan Crowningshield of Port Kent, N.Y.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Seguin and a sister, Ruth Wolack.

Visitation will be at Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, Inc., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Knights of Columbus Honor Guard. A veteran?s service will take place Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. followed by a Bible vigil at 8 p.m. with the Knights of Columbus in attendance. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard?s Church, with Rev. Timothy Soucy, pastor, officiating. A Knights of Columbus Honor Guard will form at the church. Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in AuSable Forks.

Friends wishing to remember Mr. Seguin may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Jo-Ann Seguin
Peru ? Jo-Ann Seguin, 45, of Moore Drive, Peru, passed away Monday, April 28, 2003, at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital in Elizabethtown, where she had been a patient since March.

She was born in Massena on Oct. 24, 1957, the daughter of the late 0rrin and Elizabeth (Duprey) Seguin.

Jo-Ann moved with her family to Peru in 1986 and worked at Champlain Valley Industries. She enjoyed a great friendship with her service coordinator, Patty McMannis of Chazy.

Jo-Ann enjoyed life, it?s as simple as that.

Survivors include two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jody and Wanda and nephew Shaun of Peru and Jay of Pennsylvania; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Steven and Jan LaBounty and nieces Sacha and Sable of Peru, with whom Jo-Ann lived with for 8 1/2 years and Jackie and Ken Larche and their children, Joshua, Brianna, Colby and Jacob.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her brother, Jamie.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery in Peru.

Donations in her memory may be made to the family.
