Peacefully, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 30th, 2001 at the Park Lane Paris Nursing Home, Paris. Alice Marie Dupuis in her 75th year. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice Dupuis (1980). Loving mother of Rachel Labbe (husband Mike) of Paris, Dianne Pulkkinen (husband Bob) of Mississauga, JoAnn Levesque (husband Yves) of Beaumont, Alberta, Marlene Moses (husband Stewart) of Mississauga and Peggy-Lynn Houle (husband Patrick) of Calgary, Alberta. Alice was predeceased by her daughters Linda Dupuis (1977) and Suzanne Halligan (1998). Cherished grandmother of Wayland Pulkkinen, Sheila Adams, Todd Lebbe, Mya Rajamaki, Trace Lavigne, Chantal Antoniuk, Camille Young, Jessie Lavigne, Cannice Houle, Dominic Houle and great-grandmother to 8 great-grandchildren. Alice was the beloved sister of Mona Marwood of Parry Sound. Predeceased by her siblings Corinne, Ernest, Victor, Anthony, Gertrude, Romeo, Annette, Val and Viola. A private family service was held at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL FUNERAL HOME, 1105 Rest Acres Road, Paris, on Wednesday, October 31st, 2001. At Alice’s request cremation followed the funeral service. Born August 12, 1918, at East Walton, Hants Co., he was a son of the late James and Naomi (Lake) McLellan. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was a carpenter for most of his working life. Mother of Margaret Esplen of Port Elgin, Elaine and her husband Jim Esplen of Burgoyne, and Doreen and her husband Bev Wark of Port Elgin. Grandma of Rick Esplen, Maxine Houle, Ken Esplen, Lisa Cobean, Kerrie Andrews, Scott Wark, Tanya Wolfe and Sarah Wark. Also surviving are twelve great-grandchildren, and three sisters-in-law, Evelyn Bell, Isabel Bell and Hazel Reed. She is predeceased by two brothers Bob and Jack Bell, and by her son-in-law Mac Esplen.
