Pierre Bissonnet was born about 1626 in Vendee, Diocese of Lucon, France, and died August 7, 1687. Levis, Canada. He married his first wife, Marie Allarie, in France. He married his second wife, Mathurine Desbordes, widow of Pierre Giuberge, on May 3, 1660 in Quebec, but he was found to have a living wife back in France whom he claimed was a witch.. This second marriage was annulled by the church on Jan. 8, 1663, though they had one child from this illegal marriage. Mathurin Desbordes then married 1663, Michel Bouvier.
Pierre was the son of Jacques Bissonnet & wife Guillaume' DeBien of Poitou, Lucon, France.
He married his third (second legal) wife, Marie D'Allon, on October 10, 1668 at Quebec, his first wife apparently having died in France. Marie was born 1646, St. Pierre of Oleron, Diocese of Xaintes, France, the daughter of Michel D'Allon & Marguerite Veronne.(See below) Marie D'Allon died at St. Michael, July 7, 1716.

In 1681, he had seven acres of land and two cows. Pierre, a widower, son of Jacques Bissonnet & Guillaume deBien, Diocese of Lucon, married at Quebec on 9 October 1668 to Marie D'Allon, died July 7, 1716, daughter of Michel and of Marguerite Veronne, of St. Pierre of Oleron, Diocese of Xaintes.
