ROULEAU, Lee
Lee Rouleau, formerly of Manchester, CT, process engineer in printed circuitboards for TTM Technologies, formerly Tyco Electronics, died Monday (January 24, 2011). He was 62. Lee Rouleau died of natural causes. Lee was born in Manchester, CT to Benjamin and Myona Rouleau. He graduated with a BA from Western New England College in Springfield, MA. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cynthia (Cunningham) Rouleau, his three children, Brian Rouleau, Allison Rouleau and Lauren Rouleau; his sister Carol Rouleau and his brother-in-law, Jerry Lipsky; and mother Myona Rouleau. Lee resided in Southern California, where he enjoyed spending time at the beach reading. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, dedication to his family and his kindness.

Alfred "Freddie" "AL" R. Rouleau, 70 of Merrimack died Wednesday Jan 26, 2011 in Portland, ME after a sudden illness.
He was born in Manchester, NH on May 31, 1940 a son of the late Alfred E. and Simone (Charpentier) (Rouleau) Brien. He was also predeceased by his stepfather Raymond H. Brien and a sister Charlotte H. Brien of Auburn, NH.
Mr. Rouleau had been a lifelong resident of Manchester, Auburn, and Merrimack.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Merrimack, where he was a former Eucharistic Minister.
Mr. Rouleau was employed at Nashua Motor Express for over 38 years, as a truck driver. He was a die-hard New York Yankees fan. He loved to water ski, watch anything about the Yankees and putter around the house where he could repair anything that needed fixing. He was a true handyman and the perfect definition of a "man's man." He was happiest while attending his son's soccer, basketball, and BASEBALL games, being with his wife, children, grandchildren, family, and driving his Nashua Motor Express "BIG RIG" number "79" in Maine. He will be remembered by all who knew him as "the man with a permanent smile on his face."
Members of his family include his beloved wife of 48 years, Joan P. (Chouinard) Rouleau, of Merrimack, one son Michael Rouleau and his girlfriend, Adrianne Bernazzani, of Nashua, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Caryn & Scott Jones of Reading, MA, Deann & Paul Chalifour, of Manchester, and Nanci McCabe of Spotsylvania, VA, nine adored grandchildren, Jimmy, Colleen, Eric, Nicole, Brendan, Katie, Coleman Jr., Hailey, Megan, and number ten due in August, whom he could not wait to meet. A brother, Eugene Rouleau-Brien and his wife Barbara of Manchester, two sisters, Claire (Mrs. Steve) Brien, of Royal Oak, MD, and Louise Ross of Bangor, ME and several nieces and nephews. He is sorely missed by his dog Layla who knew him as "Gampa."
Calling hours are Monday from 5-8 PM in the Rivet Funeral Home & Crematorium, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack. Norman A. Rouleau Sr.
WILLIAMSTOWN - Norman A. Rouleau Sr., 75, of Flint Road, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin surrounded by his family.
Born in Barre Nov. 29, 1935, he was the son of the late Arthur and Roberta (Roy) Rouleau. Norman attended school in Williamstown. After his schooling he was employed for Burrell Roofing Company Inc., where he worked for 54 years.
On Sept. 9, 1956, he married Alice Noury in St. Sylvester Church in Graniteville. The couple resided on Richardson Road in Barre before moving to Williamstown, where they made their home.
Among his interests were hunting and fishing and he loved the outdoors, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Barre American Legion Post 10 and the VFW Post 790 of East Barre.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years of marriage, Alice Rouleau, of Williamstown, and seven children, James Rouleau and his wife, Luciann, of Barre Town; Julie Wetsch, of Dickinson, N.D.; Norman Rouleau Jr., of Montpelier; Thomas Rouleau and his wife, Bonnie, of Barre Town; Gloria Rivard and her husband, Joseph, also of Barre Town; Karen Rouleau, of Barre; and Peggy Mulanix and her husband, Charles, of Buffalo, N.Y. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Gerard Rouleau, Roger Rouleau and Fernand Rouleau, and four sisters, Florence Bouchard, Rita Rouleau, Lucille Rouleau and Cecilia Setien.
A graveside service will be held in the spring in the Williamstown Village Cemetery in Williamstown, to be announced.
Family and friends may call at the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home in Barre on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Lauretta (LaPointe) Rouleau, 97, of Canton, a former Bristol resident, widow of George J. Rouleau, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at Cherry Brook Health Care Center, Canton. Lauretta was born Jan. 12, 1914, in Lewiston, Maine, and was a daughter of the late George and Clara (LeBlanc) LaPointe.
She resided in Bristol from 1941 until she moved to Canton in 2004. Mrs. Rouleau was a member of St. Ann Church, Bristol and a former member of the Ladies of St. Ann Society and the St. Jean Baptiste Society.
Lauretta is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Georges A. Rouleau of Thomaston and Bertrand L. and Virginia Rouleau of Avon; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by all of her siblings.
A private burial was held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Ann Church at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Ann Church 180 Laurel St., Bristol, CT 06010.

GOFFSTOWN - Catherine G. (Theodorou) Rouleau, 88, died Dec. 17, 2010, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home.
She was born in Manchester, Aug. 3, 1922, to Demetrious and Anna (Hudoba) Theodorou and had been a lifelong resident of the city.
She had worked for Anchor Electric for several years.
She was a volunteer at St.
Joseph Community Center for a number of years. She enjoyed playing bingo, loved people and making them laugh, and was a great listener. Her family will remember her as compassionate and generous.
She was the widow of Edgar H. Rouleau, who died in 1999.
Family members include two daughters, Joan Dearborn of Manchester and Donna Roy of Goffstown; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Theodorou of Manchester; a sister, Madeline Carreau of Goffstown; nephews, nieces and cousins; and her longtime friend and nursing home roommate, Irene Dubois.
A memorial gathering takes place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St. in Manchester, on Friday, Jan. 14, from 6 to 7 p.m. with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 7 p.m. Urn burial takes place in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Survivors include his beloved wife and best friend of 42 years, Helen Rouleau of Matthews; daughters, Kimberly Alley and husband, Tom, of Charlotte, Pierrette Stukes and husband, Bo, of W. Jefferson, N.C., and Jane Connors of Weddington; grandchildren, Lauren Woodruff and husband, Clay, of Charlotte, Paul Alley of Charlottesville, Va., Amelia Solada and partner in life, Warren Sheaves, of Asheville, and Dale Connors and wife, Ellen, of Wesley Chapel; great-grandson, Dominic Connors of Wesley Chapel; sister, Janet Reed of Athol, Mass.; and numerous other family members and friends.

LEWISTON - Olivette Rouleau, 93, a resident of The Sarah Frye Home and formerly of Barker Arms Apartments in Auburn, passed away Friday, March 12, at Montello Manor with family at her side.
She was born in Westbrook, June 12, 1916, one of three girls born to Jospeh and Alexina (Poliquin) Laberge. She was educated in local schools and remained a lifelong resident of this community. On Oct. 1, 1955, she married Aurele Rouleau, who passed away July 14, 2001.
She worked for many years as an inspector at Knapp shoe until her retirement in 1976. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in Sabattus and among her favorite enjoyments in her free time were playing cards and enjoying special times with her family and friends.
She was a loving, devoted and hard-working wife, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed.
She leaves her niece and caregiver, Helen Marsh and husband, Ted, of Sabattus; several nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Aurele; and two sisters, Juliette Deschene and Diane Blanchette.

died Monday at the Griffin Hospital.
He is the husband of the late Phyllis Girard Rouleau.
Born in Milton, New Hampshire on April 2, 1927, son of the late Alfred J. and Helen DuQuette Rouleau. He is a communicant of the Church of the Assumption and a Veteran of WWII, U. S.
Navy Seabees. A retired Truck Driver for Associated Transportation, a member of Teamsters Union Local 191 and after retiring from Associated Transporation he worked in the Maintenance Dept. for KMART in Derby and Milford. In his spare time he loved to do any kind of projects, especially woodworking and playing his slide guitar.
Survivors are daughter Suzanne and her husband Anthony Tiso of Ft. Meyers, Fla. Son Edmond R. Rouleau Jr. and his fiancee'Nancy Gardner of Ansonia, 4 sisters Barbara Baldwin of Fla., Janet Bostick of N. H., Elaine Rogers of Ind., Joyce Smith of CT, 3 brothers Kenneth and Ronald Rouleau of N. H. and Alfred Rouleau Jr. of Maine. Predeceased by 1 daughter, Deanne Rouleau, 2 sisters Carlyne Racicot and Shirley Ann Rouleau and 2 brothers Norman and Albert Rouleau.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 from the Bennett Funeral Home, 91 N.
Cliff St. to the Church of the Assumption for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10. Burial with full Military Honors will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to Griffin Hospital Dev. Fund or Wounded Warrier Project or Visiting Nurse Service in the Funeral Home. The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Griffin Hospital especially 2 North for all of the compassion and help to Ed during his stays there.

HAMPDEN - Robert R. Rouleau, 72, of Hampden passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Barre, VT on July 27, 1937 a son of the late Albert and Yvette (Dubuc) Rouleau. He was a graduate of Spaulding High School in Barre, Vermont, and proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. Robert was employed by Advance Manufacturing in Westfield for forty-five years up until the time of his sudden death. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his beloved wife Patricia C. (Murphy) Rouleau, and one brother Denis Rouleau. He is survived by two devoted sons Christopher Rouleau and his wife Mary of Knoxville, Robert Rouleau and his wife Lura of Mendon, MA., and his adored granddaughter, Amelia Grace Rouleau of Mendon, MA., five loving siblings, Claudette DeSanctis of Wilbraham, Ginette Knight and her husband Donald of Daytona Beach, Florida, Conrad Rouleau and his wife Shirley of Charlemont, MA., Diane Rouleau and her husband Michel Gohier of Springfield., and Mona Hulteen and her husband David of Neptune, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. Michele L. Rouleau Rios, of Manchester, born April 20, 1974, devoted mother to Dominic Urso Andrusio and loving wife to Isaac Rios, passed suddenly and unexpectedly into eternal light on Tuesday, (February 16, 2010) in her home. Michele was a graduate of East Catholic High school in Manchester and also attended Eastern Connecticut State University. Most recently Michele worked for the YWCA Kidslink Program as an educator, where she loved to mold the minds of young children and tried to guide them with her love and understanding. Michele is survived by her loving parents, Robert and Margaret Rouleau, of Bolton, CT; sister, Jackie Langdon and her husband, David Langdon, of Colchester, CT; and her beloved grandmother, Rose Brissette and extended family in Putnam, CT. Not to mention the number of friend's lives that she has touched over the number of years. She is now resting in peace with her beloved Pepere.

PITTSFIELD -- Thelma E. ( Gravel) Rouleau, 89 of Pittsfield MA, and formerly of Lunenburg, passed away peacefully in Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility where she had resided since 2008.
She was born in Fitchburg and lived in Lunenburg for many years. Thelma was a homemaker and was a very active member and volunteer for many years at St. Boniface Church in Lunenburg, and also worked at the former Baylin's Furriers in Fitchburg. She enjoyed music, dancing needlework and golfing but particularly loved being in the company of her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years Raymond E. Rouleau whom she married on August 10,1940, her daughters Gail and her husband Edward Kerwood of Pittsfield, and Sandra and her husband George Nelson of Leominster, four grandchildren, Christine Sadlowski, Pamela Bisceglia, Matthew Kerwood, Kevin Kerwood and eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother Russell Gravel and two sisters, Hazel Milette and Helen Gravel.
ROULEAU -- The funeral will be held on Friday January 29, 2010 with a 10:00 A.M. Mass at St. Boniface Church 817 Mass Ave. Lunenburg, MA. Interment will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg. A calling hour will be held on Friday morning at the funeral home from 8:30 until 9:30 A.M. Mrs. Rouleau died in her Argyle home Saturday afternoon (Jan. 15). She was 93.
Mrs. Rouleau's son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Barbara Rouleau, were vacationing in Panama when she died. They are returning to the island. A detailed obituary will be published then.
Mrs. Rouleau was born July 19, 1916, the daughter of farmer Harry Egeland and the former Etta Lightheart. Etta Lightheart Egeland was a granddaughter of Peter Lawson, who came to San Juan Island from Denmark in 1856 and established Straitsview Farm here. Mrs. Egeland founded the San Juan Historical Society and lived to be 105.
Mrs. Rouleau served on the Board of Trustees of the San Juan Historical Society and was active in Friday Harbor Presbyterian Church. She and Wilfred Rouleau, a farmer, fisherman and logger, married in 1940. He died in 1980.
Mrs. Rouleau is survived by her son, Ed, of Friday Harbor; daughter, Jeanie Garrett, of Friday Harbor; four grandchildren and six grandchildren.
