WORCESTER Isabelle V. (Rouleau) Collette, 76, of 10 Elmire Avenue, died Monday, December 15, in Saint Vincent Hospital. She leaves her husband of 56 years, Ernest J. Collette. Two sons, Ronald E. Collette of Worcester and Ernie P. Collette of Northboro; three daughters, Jeanine V. Penney of Feeding Hills, MA, Roberta A. Dupuis of Charlton, and Suzanne M. DeLaRosa of Las Vegas; a brother, Raymond Rouleau of Worcester; a sister, Evelyn O'Reilly of Whitinsville; ten grandchildren; a great grandson; many nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Ruth Rouleau and Pauline Godin both pre-deceased her. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph H. and Rose Alba (Proulx) Rouleau and has lived here all her life. She graduated from Ascension High School.

Mrs. Collette worked as a telecommunications specialist at UMass Hospital in Worcester for many years, before she retired in 1994. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, a former member of Saint Joseph's Church, and Cercle Jeanne-Mance.

The funeral will be held Thursday, December 18, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in OUR LADY OF LOURDES CHURCH, 1290 Grafton Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held Wednesday (today), December 17, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home. NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. -- Mabel F. Rouleau, 79, died Oct. 11, 2003, at the Lawrence, Mass., General Hospital after a period of failing health.


She was born July 22, 1924, in Brockton, Mass., the daughter of Joseph H. and Ellen (Kennedy) Griffin. In 1930, her family moved to Jaffrey, where she graduated from Conant High School in 1942.

Mrs. Rouleau had been a longtime resident of Massachusetts. She enjoyed traveling, reading and crossword puzzles.

Her family includes her brother, Joseph T. Griffin of Jaffrey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

SERVICES: There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Church, 89 Main St., Jaffrey. Burial will follow at Conant Cemetery in Jaffrey.

The Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Jaffrey is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mr. Rouleau retired from Kaiser Aluminum Trentwood Plant.

His wife of 47 years, Esther, died in 1999.

Survivors include four daughters, Leslie Shatzer of Green Bluff, JoAnn Ohmann of Newman Lake, Diane Zellers of Kennewick and Cheryl Thompson of Spokane; four sons, Lynn Rouleau of Spokane, Ken Mosher of Denver, Robert Vaughan of Beverly Hills, Fla., and Michael Vaughan of Kuna, Idaho; a brother, Albert Rouleau of Spokane; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was born in Nashua, the daughter of Walter and Anne (Ermalevich) Lalmond.

She was a lifelong resident of Nashua and attended schools in Nashua.

Rouleau worked as a school bus driver for Ryder Transportation for 20 years.

She loved cribbage and played at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Nashua and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Pelham.

Survivors include a son, Robert Rouleau of National City, Calif.; two brothers, Douglas Lalmond of Deering and Loren Lalmond of Salem; a sister, Debbie Patterson of Nashua; and many nieces, nephews and cousin.

Her husband of 44 years, Robert Rouleau, died in 2002; and two sisters, Linda Robie and Lois Vallier, died previously.

Calling hours will be held today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Farwell Funeral Home, 18 Lock St., Nashua.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua.

A native and lifelong Nashua resident, Mrs. Rouleau was born June 12, 1939, daughter of the late Walter and Anne (Ermalevich) Lalmond.

She was the widow of Robert P. Rouleau, whom she married in February 1958. They had celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary prior to his death on May 16, 2002.

Mrs. Rouleau had been employed as a school bus driver with Ryder Transportation for 20 years.

She was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, and was a New Britain resident for the past 70 years.

She is survived by four daughters, Rita Brochu of New Britain, Cecile Beauchemin of Cromwell, Irene Misiorski of Dale City, Va., and Jeannette Krans of Brookfield, Mass.; a son, Jerry Rouleau of Hanover, N.H.; three sisters, Simone Demers of Montreal, and Cecile Gaudreau and Lucienne Hetu, both of Sherbrooke, Canada; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Aurore (Perusse) Rouleau 89, of New Britain passed away on Thursday, (March 27, 2003). She was the beloved wife of the late J. Fernand Rouleau. She was born July 6, 1913 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, to the late Urbain and Roseanna Daigle Perusse. She was a New Britain resident for the past 70 years. She was a member of St. Jerome Church. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Aime Brochu of New Britain, Cecile and Roland Beauchemin of Cromwell, Irene and Stanley Misiorski of Dale City, VA and Jeannette and William Krans of Brookfield, MA; a son Jerry Rouleau of Hanover, NH; a son-in-law and wife, Fernand and Laura Brochu of Berlin. She will be dearly missed by her 23 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She also leaves three sisters, Simone Demers of Montreal, Cecile and husband, Leon Gaudreau and Lucienne Hetu of Sherbrooke. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Rejeanne Brochu, a daughter-in-law, Janice Rouleau, a grandson, Paul Beauchemin; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. In her later years she enjoyed painting and being with her family. She was proud of the accomplishments she had owning her travel agency in Southington and more recently as a real estate agent. She mostly enjoyed sharing her extensive knowledge about things she learned while traveling all over the world and the experiences she had during those trips. She was very creative, giving, and a wonderful mother. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, 7 p.m. at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville. Services have been set for Mary Louise (Iott) Rouleau, 69, of Monroe, who died at 9:25 p.m. Thursday in her home. She had been ill since October.

Friends may call from noon to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from noon to 9 p.m. Monday at Rupp Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Born July 31, 1933, in Petersburg, she was the daughter of Alvin and Clara (Nusbaum) Iott. She married Charles P. Rouleau Nov. 5, 1955, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maybee.

From 1993-95, she worked for Mallinckrodt Sensor Systems.

She attended St. Joseph Elementary School in Maybee and graduated from St. Mary Academy in 1950. She took part each year in St. Mary Catholic Central High School's phone-a-thon. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she held many posts in its Christian Mothers' Group and president of its Sacred Heart Guild. She was a member of Maybee Senior Citizens and on the Director's Circle at St. Paul's of the Cross Retreat House in Detroit. As a child, Mrs. Rouleau was the model for a cherub erected at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Temperance. She enjoyed collecting angels, sewing, gardening and traveling.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Steve (Terri) of Monroe; two daughters, Jean Newkirk of Monroe and Michele Zeibak of Florence, Ky.; three brothers, Hubert (Bernadine) of Maybee, Cletus (Esther) of Ann Arbor and Leonard (Joanne) of Midland; two sisters, Audrey Gerhardt of Monroe and Rita Iott of Mount Clemens, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son in 1972; three brothers, Joseph, Lawrence and Ralph, and three sisters, Marilyn and Barbara Iott and Angela Gaynier.

He worked as a building contractor.

The family includes his wife of 43 years, Denise C. (Boyer) Rouleau of Allenstown; four sons, Richard A. Rouleau of Manchester, Ronald I. Rouleau of New Jersey, Raymond A. Rouleau of Bedford; five grandchildren; a brother, Ivon Rouleau of Goffstown; three sisters, Claire Philie of Manchester, Solange Paquette of Goffstown, and Guylaine Aragona of Amherst; many nieces and nephews.

Born in Cheshire on April 4, 1921, the son of the late Charles and Angelina Trepanier Rouleau, he had resided in Meriden for most of his life. He attended local schools and was employed by Pembek Oil Co. for many years and more recently with the Grant Corp., retiring some 16 years ago. Mr. Rouleau was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Navy in the Atlantic Theatre of Operations. He was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Angels Church.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sister Cynthia Rouleau, S.N.D., of Vermont, Linda and Jonathan Cox of Bristol, and Carol and Brian Riordan of Stamford; four grandchildren, Melissa and Melanie Cox, and Timothy and Michael Riordan; a brother-in-law, Joseph Lagace of So.

Meriden; also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five sisters; and two brothers.

MENDON -- Edouard J. Rouleau Jr., 73, of Mendon, a business owner and operator, died Sunday, May 26, at home after a long illness.

He leaves his longtime companion, Lorraine Tumolo of Mendon; a son, J. Edouard Rouleau of Mendon; a daughter, Tania Barry of Northbridge; a sister, Alice Chmielewski of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren. He was born, raised and educated in Milford, son of Edouard J. and Georgine (Weeks) Rouleau. He served in the Marine Corps.

Mr. Rouleau, with his son, owned and operated the Myriad Ballroom, which they purchased in 1978. Previously, he owned and operated the Buena Vista Lounge and Mendon Driving Range. He also owned and operated Phillips 66 Service Station. Many years ago, he was a mechanic and television repair technician for various repair shops. He was also a self-employed real estate agent. He was a member of Hopedale Country Club.

The funeral service will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to VNA Care Hospice Inc., 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608. Watson-Colonial Funeral Home, 24 Congress St., Milford, is directing arrangements.

Robert Paul Rouleau, 66, of 10 Demanche St., Nashua, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 16, 2002, at home.

Mr. Rouleau was born June 29, 1935, in Manchester, son of Ovila Rouleau of Malden, Mass., and the late Alice Rouleau. Mr. Rouleau was a resident of Nashua for the past 44 years.

He was the husband of Priscilla (Lalmond) Rouleau of Nashua, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage on Feb. 15.

Mr. Rouleau worked as a meat cutter at Stop & Shop for 39 years.

He was a member of the Elks Club in Nashua, National Club and the Lafayette Club.

Mr. Rouleau was an Army veteran.

He was educated in the Malden school system.

Besides his wife and father, survivors include a son and daughter in-law, Robert J. and Carrie F. Rouleau of National City, Calif.; an aunt, Katherine Rouleau of Manchester; an uncle, Calix Rouleau of Ocala, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

FITCHBURG -- David J. Rouleau, 47, of 50 Overland St., died Thursday, Feb. 7, in HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital after being stricken ill at home.

He leaves his wife, Donna Lew-Rouleau; two sons, Joel B. and Max Rouleau, both of Leominster; a daughter, Jennifer Rouleau of Nashua, N.H.; his father, George J. Rouleau of Fitchburg; a sister, Cynthia M. Baker of Westminster; nephews. He was born in Leominster, son of Rosanna (Bastien) Rouleau, and lived most of his life in Fitchburg.

Mr. Rouleau was an engineer at the brick mills of Crocker-Burbank Paper Co. for 20 years.

He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

The private funeral will be held in Lavery-Chartrand Funeral Home, 99 Summer St. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boston Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston, MA 02115.
