CHESHIRE - Mrs. Joan M. (Likley) Rouleau, 78, of Cheshire, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at her home. She was the widow of Raymond J. Rouleau.
Mrs. Rouleau was born April 16, 1931, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., a daughter of the late William and Hazel (Richards) Likley, and was a longtime Cheshire resident. She was educated in Waterbury schools and was a communicant of Saint Bridget Church.
She leaves her daughter, Donna H. Rouleau of Burlington, Mass.; her son, Mark R. Rouleau and his wife, Sharon, of Waterbury; her nephew, William Bianchi of Cheshire; her sisters, Julia Bianchi of Waterbury and Lorraine Cole of Bristol; her grandsons, Brian Stocking, Jason Stocking and Jeffrey Rouleau; her great-grandchildren, Brandon Stocking, Brianna Stocking, Skyler Stocking and Thomas Whalen, and her sister-in-law, Janet Likley of Wolcott. She was predeceased by her son, Raymond C. Rouleau, and her brothers, Robert Likley and Edward Likley.

Lucy (Lopis) Rouleau, 83, of Kensington died Oct. 24, 2009 at the Hospital of C e n t r a l Connecti-cut, in New Britain.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella (Conti) Lopes and was the widow of Eugene Rouleau.
She retired from Landers, Ferry and Clark where she was employed as an inspector. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, stock car racing and feeding animals. She was an avid fan of football, baseball, racing and NASCAR.
She is survived by a sister Josephine Cammareta of Watertown and several nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Fluffy.
A Memorial Service was held Oct. 31, 2009 at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home. Burial was at the Veterans Cemetery, Middletown.
We would like to thank the staff of Ledgecrest , Ridgeview and the CCU staff at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, especially her friends and caregivers Mary, Laurie, Tori and Barbara.

FITCHBURG - Irene L. Rouleau of Fitchburg, died on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at her home.
She was born in Wausau, the daughter of Elsie and Ed Grosskopf. Irene married the love of her life, Greg Rouleau on May 10, 1940, in Fostoria, Ohio. They lived in several Midwestern states, and moved to Madison in 1969.
Irene is survived by her children, Chris Thomas, Mary (Brian) Mitchel and Laurie Rouleau; grandson, Craig (Adrienne) Thomas; a sister, Laurie Eggebrecht; brother-in-law, Richard (Barbara) Hellhake; beloved cats, Jake and Jenny; and nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Greg in 1973; brother-in-l aw, Ervin Eggebrecht; and Greg' s parents, Maye and Greg Hellhake.
Funeral services will be held at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5701 Raymond Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, with the Rev. Tim Nybroten presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

NORTH CONWAY, N.H. - Lucien (Babe) Rouleau, 93, formerly of Bushey Circle, Lewiston died July 5, at Merriman House.
Born in Auburn Aug. 1, 1910, a son of Octave and Ernestine (Deschenes) Rouleau. On Nov. 24, 1938, he married the former Ms. Jeanette LaFlamme who died Nov. 1, 1981.
Mr. Rouleau was a truck driver for 35 years for Dugas Express and later worked for Tri - County Mental Association for another 30 years, retiring in 2000.
He was a member of Holy Family Parish and was past president of The Montagnard Club.

BARRE TOWN - The Liturgy of the Word was celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at 11 a.m. in St. Monica Church for Gloria Pinto Rouleau of Upper Camp Street. She died peacefully at her home on Oct. 7, 2009.
The Rev. Leopold Bilodeau, pastor of the church, was the celebrant. Crucifer Ronald Routhier led the Prayer of the Faithful.
Organist Angeline Ennis accompanied the singers Janice Beach and Romeo Bilodeau in the hymns "Just a Closer Walk with Thee," "Precious Lord Take My Hand" and "On Eagles Wings." Soloist Bilodeau sang "Ave Maria."
Words of remembrance were offered by grandson Garytt Poirier and granddaughters Desiree Treon and Kendra Wobby. Son-in-law Chuck Wobby read from the Old Testament and the New Testament reading was proclaimed by son-in-law Jay Frattini.
Honorary bearer and grandson Nathan Frattini presented each of the grandchildren with a memorial rose which they placed on their grandmother's casket.
The active bearers were her grandsons Garytt, Jeffrey and Bryan "BJ" Poirier, Nicholas Frattini, Kim Treon and Ryan Wobby. Entombment was made in the Rouleau family mausoleum in Hope Cemetery in Barre.
Fellowship and luncheon followed at the Hilltop Restaurant in Barre Town.
The Rev. Bilodeau led a prayer vigil service for her family Tuesday evening at the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St. in Barre.

BARRE TOWN - Gloria Pinto Rouleau, 77, of Upper Camp Street, died peacefully Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at her home.
Born Sept. 10, 1932, in Barre City, she was the daughter of Frank and Alice (Rioux) Pinto. She attended St. Monica Elementary School and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1950.
In earlier years, she had worked in the Montpelier office of the Green Mountain Power Corp.
On Jan. 5, 1952, she was married to Lucien Paul Rouleau in St. Monica Catholic Church. They first made their home in Barre City. Since 1966 they had resided at their Upper Camp Street home in Barre Town. Lucien died Jan. 12, 2000.
Cooking, golfing, tennis, skiing, bowling, gardening and wintering in Boca Raton, Fla., with her husband, were her very special times. She also enjoyed her home and traveling.
Her memberships included the Barre Opera House Committee, the Altrusa Club and she was a longtime communicant of St. Monica Catholic Church.
Survivors include her four daughters; Donna Poirier and her husband, Yves of, Abington, Mass.; Allison J. Rouleau and her fiancée, Rusty Copping, of Barre City; Rhonda Wobby and her husband, Chuck, of South Burlington; and Sonda Frattini and her husband, Jay, of Charlotte, N.C.
Ten grandchildren: Bryan "BJ" Poirier and his wife, Michelle, Jeffery Poirier and Garytt Poirier, Terri Ford, Kim Treon, Desiree Treon, Ryan Wobby, Kendra Wobby, Nicholas Frattini and Nathan Frattini and her great granddaughter, Bryana Treon. Also surviving is her sister, JoAnn Belanger and her husband, Arthur, and her nephew, Steven Belanger and his wife, Valerie, all of Montpelier and more distant relatives.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at 11 a.m. in St. Monica Catholic Church.
Entombment will follow in the Rouleau family mausoleum in the Hope Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.

She was an avid square dancer in the challenged level, a fabulous cook, talented in craft making, a student of nutrition and a doting grandmother.
She is survived by three daughters, Sister Cynthia Rouleau SND, of Vermont, Linda Cox and her husband, Jonathan, of Bristol and Carol Riordan and her husband, Brian, of Stamford; four grandchildren, Melissa Tanguay, Melanie Mc Connell, Timothy Riordan and Michael Riordan; three great-grandchildren, Keira Mc Connell, Will Mc Connell and Blake Riordan; one sister, Adeline Perry, of Middletown; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers and sisters.

Fitchburg, MA, died peacefully at home Thursday
evening, May 14, 2009, with all of his family at his side.
He was born on August 25, 1925, in Fitchburg, the son of Leon and Cecile (Dufault) Rouleau, and has lived in
Fitchburg all of his life. He attended school in Fitchburg, and then in 1943 he enlisted the U.S. Navy and served overseas during WWII. He took part in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre and Philippine
Liberation serving aboard the USS Newcomb and The USS Hope. He was honorably discharged in 1946.
Mr. Rouleau worked as a foreman and set-up man for Seth Thomas Clocks for 32 years, and went to work at Digital Equipment for 12 years, retiring in 1990.
Emery was a former member of the Fitchburg
Sportsman's Club, he also enjoyed camping with family, family cook outs, and all types of music. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Theresa (Leger) Rouleau; his son, Emery A. Rouleau Jr. and his wife, Heidi R. Whitehair of Tyngsboro, MA; his daughter,
Linda and her husband, George Desmarais of Fitchburg, MA; three brothers, Roland Rouleau of Fitchburg, MA, Donald Rouleau of Lunenburg, MA, and Philip Rouleau of Fitchburg, MA; his three sisters, Theresa Caravella of Fitchburg, MA, Anita Gagne of Leominster, MA, and Joyce Cote of Lunenburg, MA; two grandchildren, Melissa Lyonnais and her husband Ed, and Marlie Rouleau. He also leaves several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his grandson, Ryan Rouleau.

CHESHIRE - Roland (Pepe) Rouleau Sr., 70, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 11, 2009. Born in Meriden on Nov. 27, 1938, he was the son of the late Ernest and Irene Rouleau and attended Wallingford schools. He had resided in Meriden most of his life, before moving to Cheshire. Roland had worked for Carlson Fuel for many years before his retirement in 2006. He loved going to his sons' and grandsons' football games, playing with his granddaughters, playing bingo and casino slots with his family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

At his side were his wife Ginny, daughter Michelle, granddaughter Tawnie, and his "buddy", Michelle's fiance Jim Popeski, Jr. A resident of Erie most of his life, he was born in Philadelphia, Pa. a son of the late Leon and Marion Rouleau. Ron had served in the United States Marine Corps and had went on to work as the head cook at the V.A. Hospital. Later he worked at the G.E. in the transit car division and most recently at Gritz Pools. He was a member of the American Legion and was an avid golfer, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Indians fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Leon Rouleau; and two sisters, Betty Gritz and Peggy Flukey. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Virginia "Ginny" Williams Rouleau; one daughter, Michelle Rouleau and her fiance Jim Popeski Jr. of Erie; and two granddaughters, Tawnie Rouleau and Samantha Hinkle. Furthermore, he is survived by his older children, Cindy, Ron Jr., and Jim; one brother, James Rouleau of Philadelphia; his beloved German Shepherds Lexi, Chief, and step-Shepherd Soren, along with Spencer the cat (though he would never admit it). Many nieces and nephews also survive. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road (corner of East Gore and Pine Ave.) on Monday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to services there on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Eugene Lorenzo "Lee" Rouleau, 86, of Berlin died March 19, 2009 at Ledgecrest Convalescent Home with his loving wife by his side.
He was the son of the late Joseph and Antoino Rouleau and the husband of Lucy (Lopes) Rouleau.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired carpenter having been employed by Kensington Glass Co. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson; he was a big fan of NASCAR, loved to fish on his boat, enjoyed wrestling and raced his stock car number 5 for many years. He was a member of the Berlin VFW and the American Legion.
In addition to his wife Lucy, he is survived by a brother Joseph Rouleau of Newington and a sister-inlaw Josephine Camarata of Watertown.
Burial at the Veterans Cemetery in Middletown with military honors was held March 27, 2009.
Mrs. Rouleau would like to thank the entire staff at Ledgecrest for their gentle care given to Eugene during his stay.

Survived by his loving wife, Linda Regnier-Rouleau of Sun City, AZ who he married April 3, 2004 at St. Joseph Church, Manteno; daughters, Renee (Jeffrey) Specht of Wilmington, IL, Joyce (Ernie) Muzzillo of Algonquin, IL, and Mary Rouleau of Bourbonnais; son, Rodney (Cheryl) Rouleau of Manhattan, IL; stepson, Jay (Renee) Regnier of Bourbonnais; grandchildren, Adam (Amy) Specht, April (Gordan) Redzic, Jennifer (Brent) Marsh, Kristi Lail, Christopher Muzzillo, Eric Blanchette, Matthew and Sarah Vickery, Krystal (Adam) Ferrari, Amber Rouleau, Derek and Trevor Regnier; sister, Jeanette Hilton, Grosse Ile, MI; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Werner of Monee, IL and Donna (Stanley) Loebaka, of Hayward, WI.
